Description
Inspired by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, this baby room is crafted with the traditional Japanese philosophy of ‘thinking about nature is experiencing nature’. It exudes warmth and sobriety through its oval-shaped pillars that create a unique play of shadows and its use of natural materials that play a prominent role in its design. The Hai No Ki wood, which translates to ‘ash wood’ in Japanese, is a key component of the room, bringing an air of serenity and natural beauty. Safety and sustainability intertwine, as our furniture grows with your child. Quax's commitment to nature is evident in every detail, creating a harmonious sanctuary.
The cot bed is a timeless piece of nursery furniture that accompanies bub from babyhood to toddlerhood.
It features two height positions to grow with and adapt to your baby's needs - use the cot with the slatted frame raised for your newborn, and lower it to the lowest position as your little one grows and begins to pull themselves up and sit independently.
Then convert the cot into a toddler bed by removing one rail section and adding the Quax Hai No Ki Toddler Bed Rail (available separately at Deer Industries) for fall-out prevention when your child is ready to hop in and out of bed on his/her own.
Once your toddler has outgrown the bed, you can remove one side of the rail to convert into a sofa bed, or add it as a chic piece of furniture in your lounging area.

The Cot Bed can be transformed into a Toddler Bed, of mattress size 70 x 140 cm. (Recommended mattress thickness: 9cm)
For Toddler Bed use, the minimum age should be no less than 15 months.
For Sofa Bed use, the minimum age should be no less than 4 years.

Delivery & Shipping
Deer Industries currently ships to any registered street address in Singapore, excluding restricted areas (e.g. Pulau Ubin). If you wish your order to be shipped to an other country, please send us a message at hello@deerindustries.com.
We ship by external couriers or through our delivery team for delivery & assembly of furniture. Shipping costs are calculated by volume and weight.
Delivery and assembly charges applies for furniture. We offer free delivery (& assembly) if you spend above Singapore $2,000.00 in a single receipt and delivery.
After placing the order we will contact you to make arrangements for delivery. Deliveries will take place as soon as possible after confirmation of the order. Deliveries can take place from Monday to Saturday in between 10:00am to 6:00pm. If the customer requires delivery after 6:00pm, on Sundays, or Public Holidays please contact us, there might be extra charges.
Return
Deer Industries does not accept any returns of products unless the item arrived damaged or if customer receives the wrong item. Requests for replacement should be emailed accompanied with pictures immediately after delivery or purchase to:hello@deerindustries.com.
If your claim is honored, Deer Industries will try to arrange a prompt replacement or to resolve the issue as expeditiously as possible. If Deer Industries is unable to replace the damaged or wrongly delivered item, Deer Industries will refund the paid amount for these items to the original mode of payment.
Exchange
If customer is not satisfied with the delivered item bought from Deer Industries, the customer can do a one-time exchange (per receipt) for another product(s). Exchange has to take place within 7 days after purchase of a product or delivery of the product in our showroom at 213 Henderson Road #01-02. Deer Industries cannot provide a store credit.
Exchange can only take place if:
- product is in new condition and unused
- product is in original packaging
- item was not discounted
Not eligible for return are the following products:
- furniture (bed, desk, bedside table, cot, table, chair, wardrobe, bookcase, shelf etc.)
- used products
- discounted products/sale items
Deer Industries reserves the right to reject exchange/return if the item does not meet the requirements for exchange/return.
